I was up in Seattle and put the call out that I was open for shoots.  It was perfect timing for this family because there oldest son is leaving for 2 years on Monday (!!).  He is going on a mission to Brazil and can only call home twice a year (!!!) so these pictures will provide his holding place until he returns.  Once again I was blessed with having a wonderful family to work with.  They were all so nice and such a sweet, loving family. So heartwarming to watch the older ones dote on the little ones.  These big families are totally winning me over…  :)  

What do you get when you take five little girls and anything pink you can get your hands on? Pretty much the giggliest, bubble gum sweetest, most fun shoot you can ask for We went out last week to shoot Knuckleheads girl’s line, Hula Mula, for the upcoming catalog. I was in pink heaven

I grew up in a pretty small family.  Basically just me, my sister & my mom.  So when I see big families, I am in awe.  I love watching how they interact.  The comfort in just being part of this big connected group of love & support.  They laugh, throw looks, talk over each other- it is complete chaos/over-stimulation to someone used to having one sister to talk/fight with  But it always feels so special to me, like I somehow snuck into some cool family reunion.  This family not only had the five siblings, but the first & only grandchild as well.  I loved how they ALL took care of him.  He had seven adults hugging on him, chasing after him, playing with him… an over abundance of love that I wish upon every little one

I can’t believe it has been a year already.  My favorite baby in the whole wide world just turned one so it was time to do a little shoot to celebrate the occasion.  She wasn’t a big fan of the whole experience but, being that she is also the cutest baby in the world, the camera loved her just the same
